Let's sail away to where the blues and greens swirl into gray

So I got back from my vacation in Washington Saturday night; later than I expected because I read the time wrong, but whatever. I guess all in all, I'm glad I went. Sure it was depressing and of course I didn't get to do more than half the things I wanted to do but such is life, such is life.

Sari remembered me. Dad got ridiculously skinny and he does look sickly. It really broke my heart to see him like that. Sure, he made mean comments about the fact that I'm aging and stuff but it's ok, all in all he wasn't as mean as I thought he would be. We went up to Seattle for a day but didn't really do anything, went to a few restaurants, I cooked dinner a couple nights, and Mr. Kim and I went to the Puyallup Fair and saw Coheed and Cambria and Brand New which was so amazing, words will never do it justice. Mmm, Jesse Lacey... :)

I went to see Jin, Uncle Steve and Brodie on Thursday. Oh my, Brodie is 3 and is so freaking smart; I didn't think a 3 year old could be that articulate and have such amazing sentence structure and grammar. He was high energy and exhausting but he was super cute. The things that he said and did was just hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing. It might almost be worth it to go out there this winter just to see how much he's grown and to hear the random crap he'll say or do.

Mr. Kim and I spent most of the time watching Chuck. I didn't really talk to my grandma or aunt, or really my dad but it was ok for the most part. It really is a depressing place to be and I have no idea how Mr. Kim deals with it. We cried when we said bye at the airport like the losers that we are.

The entire week I was there I was really paranoid about Tyson not wanting to hang out when I got back or he won't text or call me back. I did text him once while I was there but it was hopefully casual. I texted him when I was in the cab going home and he texted me right back :) He was downtown with his friend and wanted me to hang out with them after I showered and all that. I was really pleased because I thought he wouldn't want to see me and he invited me to hang out with his friend which is something Corey didn't ever want me doing. I met them at Falling Rock and his friend was super drunk and I think he was too but we ended up having a really good time. He kept telling me that he was glad I'm back and that he missed me and thought about me. Which was comforting and flattering. He spent the night with me and he spooned me or tried to cuddle in some way the entire night. I didn't get much sleep.
